Fire protection, floors and anti-corrosion in Karshi

The Kashkadarya Region is built on oil and gas, gas chemicals and power generation. In Karshi and across the region, STATERM protects the metal of such facilities against corrosion and fire, including on open-air sites. We work with our own Stacor and TERM materials and come out to your site.

Where we have already worked in the region

Power generation, processing, fields. In the Kashkadarya Region STATERM has worked at the Talimarjan Thermal Power Plant, at the Uzbekistan GTL complex for processing and producing synthetic liquid fuel and at the Gissar group of fields. Details are on the project pages.

What we do at industrial sites

Abrasive blast cleaning. We remove rust, mill scale and old coatings from metal — the quality of preparation determines how long the protection will last. More about blast cleaning

Anti-corrosion protection. We coat pipelines, trestles and the external surfaces of tanks with multi-coat Stacor systems featuring a zinc-rich primer and a UV-resistant finish, and the internal surfaces of tanks with a coating for petroleum products. More about anti-corrosion protection

Fire protection of steelwork. On open-air sites we use the weather-resistant coating TERM-009, and in dry indoor areas TERM-007; we calculate the thickness for the required fire-resistance limit and check it after application. More about fire protection

Sequence of work

We start with the input data: the structural specification, the service environment and the required fire-resistance limit. From these we select the coating system and calculate the quantity of material. On site we prepare the surface, apply the coats and measure their thickness, and at the end we hand over the documents for acceptance.

Can I order abrasive blast cleaning only?

Yes, it is a separate service. But cleaning and painting are more often entrusted to one contractor — then a single party is responsible for the whole system.

What makes up the cost of protecting a trestle?

The surface area, the condition of the metal, the chosen coating system and the conditions on site. Send us drawings or photos and we will work out the cost.
