Fire-protection, anti-corrosion materials and floors in Guliston
Syrdarya Region means energy and agricultural processing. That is why STATERM supplies materials to Gulistan for two different tasks: Stacor anti-corrosion systems and TERM fire protection for the steel structures of power facilities, and Stafloor epoxy floors for food production workshops.
Steel at power facilities: protection against corrosion and fire
Primer with cathodic protection. Stacor EP Zinc is a zinc-rich primer whose applications include power plants.
Fuel tanks. Stacor Tankguard protects the internal surfaces of tanks for petroleum products and diesel fuel.
Exterior finish. Stacor Topcoat acrylic-polyurethane enamel is UV-resistant, retains its colour and gloss, and can be tinted to RAL colours.
Fire protection. Outdoor structures are coated with weather-resistant TERM-009, and indoor frames with TERM-007. Both coatings are applied over an anti-corrosion primer, and both increase the fire-resistance limit of steel structures up to 120 minutes.
Power plants in the STATERM portfolio
At the Navoi Thermal Power Plant, STATERM applied fire protection to the frame of the main building; in Kashkadarya Region, the company’s projects include the Talimarjan Thermal Power Plant.
Floors for food production
Non-absorbent and safe. The Stafloor EP Primer and Stafloor EP Finish system is impermeable to liquids, chemical-resistant and physiologically safe once cured, so it is suitable for food production workshops and warehouses at processing plants. Thickness ranges from a roller-applied coat of about 0.5 mm to a 1.5–5 mm mortar.

Which should I choose for steel: EP Zinc or Stacor EP?
It depends on the environment. Zinc-rich EP Zinc gives steel cathodic protection and is designed for atmospheres up to CX according to ISO 12944-2, while epoxy Stacor EP is designed for up to C5-M. Describe the area and we will propose a system.
Is an epoxy floor suitable if the workshop is washed with hot water?
No: epoxy is not used where there is hot washing or steam; such areas need polyurethane cement. Stafloor is for areas without hot washing or steam.
