TERM-009

Weather-resistant intumescent fire-protective coating for steel structures. Applied up to 2000 µm in a single pass, raising fire resistance to 120 minutes.

TERM 009 — STATERM
  • Weather-resistant intumescent fireproof coating for steel structures.

It is a weather-resistant thin-layer fire-protective coating system for steel load-bearing structures that foams under heat during a fire. The fire-resistant low-conductivity foam formed by heat exposure reduces the rate of temperature rise of the load-bearing steel structure. The coating has high stability of properties and a long service life.

The difference from TERM-007 is resistance to direct weather exposure: no protective topcoat is required over TERM-009.

  • – the material is applied up to 2000 µm thick in one pass, reducing labour and time

    – low material consumption

    – does not create additional static load on structures

    – the material is certified in the Republic of Uzbekistan to raise the fire-resistance limit of steel structures up to 120 minutes.

    – easy application with airless spray equipment, brush or roller.

    – made in Uzbekistan

    – weather-resistant grade: needs no protective topcoat on outdoor structures

    – the system is one layer shorter — fewer operations on site and less time to handover

  • Used to increase the fire-resistance limit of steel load-bearing structures such as columns, trusses, bracings, struts and other structural load elements.

Intended primarily for structures working outdoors: under atmospheric exposure, high humidity and rural, urban and industrial atmospheric conditions. Indoors it is used in the same way.

The TERM-009 fire-protective topcoat is applied to a surface previously coated with an anti-corrosion primer.

No protective topcoat is required over TERM-009 — the material is weather-resistant in itself. The system consists of two layers: anti-corrosion primer and TERM-009. Compared with TERM-007 that is one technological layer less: fewer operations on site, fewer inter-coat waiting times and less time to handover.
