Fire-protection, anti-corrosion materials and floors in Andijan
Andijan and Andijan Region are home to automotive and mechanical engineering production and to light and food industry enterprises in the Fergana Valley. The floor in such workshops is under strain from machinery, industrial fluids and washing. To meet these demands, STATERM supplies Andijan with Stafloor epoxy floors, along with TERM fire protection and Stacor coatings.
Workshop floors: three application methods
A thin roller-applied coat. About 0.5 mm — for warehouses and light-duty areas where the concrete needs to be made dust-free.
A self-levelling floor. 0.5–1.5 mm — an even, seamless surface for assembly areas and for light and food industry workshops.
A mortar system. 1.5–5 mm — for areas of engineering plants where forklifts and heavy machinery operate.
All three options are built up from the primer Stafloor EP Primer and the finish coat Stafloor EP Finish.
Fire protection for steel frames
Workshop frames. For indoor structures, the white thin-film coating TERM-007 is suitable: it raises the fire-resistance limit of steel structures up to 120 minutes.
A colour finish. If the frame remains exposed, the fire protection is overcoated with Stacor Aqua Acryl, an odourless acrylic paint tinted to RAL and Pantone — for interiors and canopies.

Metal and concrete under vibration
Supports, frames, equipment bases. Where structures are exposed to vibration and impact, Stacor EP HS is used — a wear-resistant and chemical-resistant coating for steel and concrete.

Floors for food and machine shops: questions
Is an epoxy floor suitable for food production?
Yes: once cured, Stafloor is physiologically safe and impermeable to liquids. The exception is areas with hot washing and steam: epoxy is not suitable there, and polyurethane cement is needed (see industrial polymer floors).
Will the floor absorb industrial fluids?
No: the Stafloor epoxy coating is chemically resistant and impermeable to liquids, so spills stay on the surface. If your workshop handles aggressive substances, send us a list of them and we will select a system.
