The Navoi Region is home to chemical, mining and metallurgical plants, power generation and industrial sites where metal operates in an aggressive environment. What sites in the Navoi Region need most often
Protecting metal in an aggressive environment. Near chemical production units and at ore-processing sites, metal is attacked by fumes, salts and abrasive dust. For these conditions we put together a Stacor system: the zinc-rich primer Stacor EP Zinc, the chemical-resistant coating Stacor EP HS, Stacor Mastic abraziv for areas of abrasive wear and Stacor Tankguard for the internal surfaces of tanks.
Fire protection for the frames of workshops and power facilities. TERM-007 is for indoor structures, while TERM-009 is a weather-resistant coating for open-air sites. Both materials increase the fire-resistance limit of steel structures up to 120 minutes.
A finishing coat for outdoor metal. For trestles and external structures there is Stacor Topcoat, a UV-resistant acrylic-polyurethane enamel.
Floors in workshops and warehouses. The epoxy system of Stafloor EP Primer and Stafloor EP Finish ranges from a thin roller-applied coat of about 0.5 mm to a mortar up to 5 mm thick for forklift traffic.
STATERM projects in Navoi
At the Navoi Thermal Power Plant, the frame of the main building received fire protection under a finishing enamel, and the outdoor trestles a weather-resistant anti-corrosion enamel. At Navoiazot, in ammonia and urea production, the structures were sandblasted, given an epoxy primer and coated with exterior-grade fire protection and an acrylic-urethane finish.
