Fire-protection, anti-corrosion materials and floors in Urgench
Khorezm Region means agricultural processing, light industry and tourism: Khiva is close to Urgench, and with it come hotels and retail buildings. For these needs, STATERM supplies its own materials to Urgench: Stafloor epoxy floor systems, TERM fire protection and Stacor primer-enamel for outdoor metalwork.
Floors for agricultural processing and warehouses
Food production workshop. Stafloor EP Primer under a top layer of Stafloor EP Finish forms a chemical-resistant coating that does not let liquids through and is physiologically safe once cured. This system is used in food and pharmaceutical production.
Warehouses and light-industry workshops. The thickness is chosen to suit the load: about 0.5 mm by roller, 0.5–1.5 mm as a self-levelling compound, and 1.5–5 mm as a mortar for areas with vehicle traffic.
Hotels and retail buildings: fire protection and colour
Steel frame. TERM-007 is a white thin-film intumescent coating that increases the fire-resistance limit of steel structures up to 120 minutes. In dry rooms no topcoat is needed; in humid ones, TERM-007 is covered with a protective enamel.
Colour to match the interior. If the columns remain on view, Stacor Aqua Acryl goes over the fire protection: this acrylic paint is odourless, can be tinted to RAL and Pantone, and is suitable for interiors and canopies.
Timber elements. For wood, there is TERM-001, a transparent fire- and bio-protective compound.
We have hotel experience: at the Hilton hotel in Tashkent, we applied fire protection to the steel structures of the high-rise building.
Outdoor metalwork: primer and enamel in one product
Gates, canopies over loading ramps and external staircases are painted with Stacor UR, a one-component urethane-alkyd primer-enamel. It dries quickly and is designed for C1–C4 atmospheres.

Answers to questions from Khorezm
Is an epoxy floor suitable where hot water is used for washing?
No. Epoxy is not suited to hot washing and steam; such areas need polyurethane cement. For the other zones of the workshop and for warehouses, Stafloor is suitable.
Can fire protection be applied to galvanised steel?
Yes, TERM-007 can also be applied to galvanised surfaces, using an adhesion primer. Tell us when ordering whether the frame is galvanised, and we will include the primer in the calculation.
