Fire-protection, anti-corrosion materials and floors in Namangan
Namangan Region, in the Fergana Valley, specialises in textile and light industry and in construction. Hence the two main demands on materials: a workshop floor that does not give off dust, and fire protection for steel frames in retail and office buildings. For both tasks STATERM supplies Namangan with its own materials — Stafloor and TERM.
A dust-free floor for a textile workshop
Why epoxy. Uncoated concrete gives off dust, and where fabric and yarn are handled, the dust settles on raw materials and machines. The primer Stafloor EP Primer and the finish coat Stafloor EP Finish seal the concrete under a continuous chemical-resistant layer that is impermeable to liquids.
Three thicknesses. A roller-applied coat of about 0.5 mm, a self-levelling coating of 0.5–1.5 mm or a 1.5–5 mm mortar — the thickest option, for forklift lanes. The same system is suitable for raw material and finished goods warehouses.
Fire protection for the frames of retail and office buildings
Columns and beams. TERM-007 is a white thin-film intumescent coating that raises the fire-resistance limit of steel structures up to 120 minutes. It is applied over an anti-corrosion primer; in dry interiors — sales floors, offices — no topcoat is needed.
Exposed metal. If the columns need to be coloured, the fire protection is overpainted with Stacor Aqua Acryl acrylic paint: it is odourless and can be tinted to RAL and Pantone. For wood there is the clear fire- and bio-protective treatment TERM-001.

Questions about floors and fire protection
What floor thickness should I choose for a light-industry workshop?
The load determines it. For pedestrian areas and hand trolleys, a roller-applied coat or a self-levelling coating is usually enough; forklifts need a mortar. Describe your workshop and we will calculate the material for its area.
Can TERM-007 be applied to galvanised steel?
Yes, over an adhesion primer. Bare ferrous metal is given an anti-corrosion primer before fire protection, and we calculate the TERM-007 thickness from the steelwork specification and the required fire-resistance limit.
