HILTON Hotel, Tashkent
HILTON HOTEL, Tashkent City, TASHKENT. Fire-retardant treatment of steel structures.
Fire protection of residential hotel complexes with a large number of people permanently present indoors is strictly controlled by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan when the facility is commissioned.
The supervisory authorities require that the fire-retardant paint has fire-safety certificates, test reports depending on the applied thickness and fire-resistance limit, quality passports for the batch of fire-retardant material, and certificates of seismic resistance of the coatings for construction zones with high seismic activity.
Given the height of the Hilton hotel building and the construction of the upper floors from steel structures, the seismic resistance of the fire protection is an important factor for a long service life.
For such facilities, an important parameter is the adhesion of the fire-retardant paint to the metal primer layers.
The compatibility of the materials included in the fire-protection system must also be confirmed. The dry-film thickness of the coating was checked with magnetic thickness gauges.
