Fire protection of steel structures of trestles, loading-unloading facilities and pump buildings.
The main facilities of the customer, Lukoil Uzbekistan LLC, that require fire protection of steel structures are, as a rule, located in an open-atmosphere environment. A long service life of fire-protection systems for steel requires thorough surface preparation.

The permitted abrasive — copper slag — was used for blast cleaning of the steel. Preparation grade 2 per GOST 9.402. The steel structures were then de-dusted and primed with paint.

After the primer layer had dried, the thickness of the applied primer was checked.

After the applied primer layer had been handed over to the customer, the exterior steel structures were treated with a fire-protection compound using a weather-resistant fire-retardant paint.

Once the required dry-film thickness had been built up and measurements taken, the fire-protection coating was covered with a weather-resistant enamel of the required color according to the customer's technical specification.
