Porsche Centre Tashkent
Fire protection of steel structures at the Porsche dealership centre in Tashkent.
The load-bearing steel frame was treated: columns, floor beams and roof structures. The work was carried out during construction, on exposed steelwork, before the cladding panels and finishes were installed, so the structures could be coated from every side.
Total scope — 4,995 sq m of steel structures. Required fire resistance ratings were set by zone: R15 — 364 sq m, R45 — 3,410 sq m, R60 — 200 sq m, R90 — 1,021 sq m. Most of the scope falls under the R45 rating.
The steel frame is protected against fire, each zone brought to its design rating from R15 to R90. The coating follows the profile geometry and does not hide the shape of the structures, so the exposed frame remains part of the showroom architecture.
